Introducing Fierce & Fearless Janhvi Kapoor In A Massy Avatar As Achiyyamma In Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Peddi

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s much-awaited rural action drama Peddi is progressing at fast pace with its shoot. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film features Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and prestigiously presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is being mounted on a grand scale with high budget. The first look posters, glimpse, and working stills from the movie generated strong buzz. Today, the makers revealed the first look of Janhvi Kapoor as Achiyyamma through two different posters.

In the first look poster, Jahnvi Kapoor is seen in a rustic printed saree, accessorized with traditional jewelry and sunglasses, striking a confident pose at a microphone stand. The overall styling evokes a village festive atmosphere, matched with an earthy, folk-inspired aesthetic.

The second poster reveals Janhvi standing atop a jeep, dressed in a blue saree, as she confidently greets a large crowd, reinforcing her character’s social prominence and bold spirit. Her character is described as "fierce and fearless," underlining the intensity and dynamism of Janhvi’s role in the movie. She looks totally massy in both the posters.

Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma and Boman Irani are the other prominent cast of the movie.

A stellar technical team backs the project. Academy Award winner AR Rahman composes the music, renowned cinematographer R Rathnavelu handles the camera, and National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli takes charge of the editing.

Peddi is slated for a grand pan-India theatrical release on March 27, 2026.
